The world is a coherent, firmly-held running net, comparable to the drops forming a river. I try to capture and understand a moment out of the whole. Watercolor is a snapshot of an emotion out of the overall flow of life. The water and the color flow across the paper giving them the opportunity to move, to play and to live. As soon as the paper dries and leaves the field to the viewer, this interplay is for me the most exciting thing about watercolor.
