Pedro Orozco Tristán
Pedro Orosco-Tristán has started to use watercolour very timorously, after many years of drawing. He discovered with surprise that it was the best way to recreate a scenery for the speed of the technique was corresponding to the speed his mind was forcing him to to represent the reality. Then he applied his knowledge to place the objects in space and looked for the light which was coming from everywhere and found it in profusion.
In Pedro Orosco-Tristan's artworks, neither the cities he has visited nor the landscapes he has crossed are to be looked for, but his creative language, his relashionship to people, machines for he pays a great attention to his surroundings. There is always a sort of provocation in the scenery of his artworks, but it is each time more an anecdote than a necessity.
